The story behind it

Whimsy started life as a ball of coral yarn and a vague promise to “just make something small.” Three evenings later, eight tentacles had appeared and none of them would sit still. That’s crafting for you.

Worked in continuous rounds with a soft acrylic-cotton blend, Whimsy has safety eyes (so no wobbly bits come loose) and a stuffing level we like to call “firmly affectionate.” The bobbles on the head are pure decoration and 100% the reason this pattern took longer than planned.
