The story behind it

The good thing about granny squares is that they’re basically pixel art for yarn people. This hanger uses four of them, joined with a lavender border, plus two long chains to cradle the pot and one big loop at the top.

It now lives in a sunny kitchen window where it holds a pothos that has fully taken over. This one is sold, but the pattern is a favourite of ours and we’re happy to make a near-identical one in your colours.

Recommended for pots up to about 15 cm across. Works with a 4.5 mm hook and any worsted-weight cotton.
